Buckingham

Buckingham (born May 2006) is a lovely grey colt by Bennos Hit out of our ASPR mare Silverbelle.  Buckingham has matured into a lovely pony standing 14.2 H.  He has an outstanding walk, trot and canter and a very friendly disposition. His score at the ASPR inspection placed him in the First Premium category.

Update:  In 2010 he was shown in dressage at the local Glanbrook Dressage shows and was the reverse champion at his level for the season. In 2011 Kerrie Norcott showed Buckingham at several sport pony shows and placed right behind his sire Bennos Hit in most classes.

Bennos Barclay

Barclay (born May 2006) is a lovely chestnut colt by Bennos Hit out of our ASPR mare Farnley Jessica. He will mature about 14 HH and was bred to be a hunter pony. Barclay has great movement and a friendly disposition. His score at the ASPR inspection tied him as second top score on the Saturday inspection for foals.

His half sister Northwind Debuntante was second in the three year filly class at Devon in 2006 and subsequently sold to purchasers in United States.

In 2011 we showed Bobbi at several sport pony shows and he placed well on the line. Due to time constraints with the brewery, I decided to turn out several ponies so Bobbi didn’t get shown after the spring.

South Gates Mourning Dove

2010 registered half welsh black filly with a snowball star and two hind white socks. Dove is by Alderdale Nighthawk out of my favourite driving pony Natalma. Dove should mature about 13.2 hands and will make a lovely riding pony or a great driving partner for someone. Both parents have shown successfully in harness.

South Gates Samual

2008 registered half welsh dark grey gelding by Alderdale Nighthawk out of Silverbelle. Sam will mature a large medium pony and is starting his career this summer as a driving pony. He inherited his sire’s personality and his dam’s lovely trot so would make a great junior’s pony.

Yswain Joel D 11453

Joel is a Section D Welsh pony imported from Great Britain, 14.1 H born May 2003.  Joel is By Sydenham Solomon out of Yswain Carys by Nebo More Magic.  Joel is a beautiful cob with an outstanding show record.  In 2009 Joel was the Canadian Cob gelding champion and in 2007 the American  Cob Stallion/ Gelding Reserve Champion on the line.  Joel drives single, pair and team and has shown under saddle.  Joel has a wonderful laid back personality and would be suitable for children or a family wanting to show a top cob.

In 2010 with limited showing Joel was the Eastern Canadian Champion Weslh C/D gelding and in 2011 the Ontario Welsh C/D Champion gelding.(In 2011 the national Welsh awards were discontinued). In 2011 Joel was Champion at several shows – CNE, Erin Fair, Arthur Fair and the RWF.

Bulteal’s Nutmeg A9613

Bulteal’s Nutmeg is a Section A Welsh Pony mare 11.3 H born May 2001.  Nutmeg is by Buteal’s Kizzam out of Kenview’s Golden Peregrine by Ardmore Eclispe.   Meg would be a great pony for an advanced driver.  This pony loves cones, fantastic on cross country, no spook and an awesome mover. Sadly Meg doesn’t fit in with our small blacks for pair or tandem.  She has placed well at Walnut Hill Driving Show, East Aurora Pleasure Show and the Royal Winter Fair.  She would also make a great broodmare.   $5000.00

South Gates Peregrine

2010 Registered Half Welsh dark brown colt by Alderdale Nighthawk out of Northwind Just Imagine. Perry will mature a medium sized pony and has a very elegant look to him. He also has one of the most beautiful heads with the large welsh eye that I have ever seen. It is hard to sell him as he is a great litle guy with a real friendly personality.

South Gates Chickadee

2010 Registered Half Welsh dark bay filly by Alderdale Nighthawk out of Northwind Just Guess. Chickadee will be a very lovely medium pony that needs to be shown on the line and later as a hunter pony.

We showed Chickadee in 2011 in the part welsh and sport pony shows and she always came homw with great ribbons. She was fun at the shows – behaved like a mature pony and loved her hay bags!
